Well done to Stephen Docherty who has beat a field of 259 other player (including The UK Shark) to win the third Virgin Poker Festival at Dusk till Dawn in Nottingham and in doing so takes home the £10,800 first prize!

Beat Bad Jackpot
The prize of 50,000 Virgin Atlantic Flying Club Miles went to Jamie ‘mufcok!!!’ O’Connor. While there were statistically worse bad beats over the weekend the context of this one pushed it to the top of the pile! With just 3 players left on the final table Jamie must have thought he had doubled up when his ace/five came up against ten/five with a flop of ace/queen/ nine. However the turn saw a jack and an eight came out on the river! It was enough to knock him out - a stinker at that stage of the proceedings.

Bounty prizes
Having both cashed out in Newcastle our pros had a tough time of it in Nottingham.

Lucy Rokash was knocked out by David ‘4TKnox’ Szypusz to win a hot ballooning trip with Virgin Experience Days. Maria Demetriou was bettered by Alan ‘Pokerpunk’ Kenny – a days rally driving is his reward.

Forum Challenge - Saturday night saw different forums battling it out in this team event. The friendly folk from Eat My Stack triumphed and in the process earned themselves an exclusive freeroll and some serious bragging rights.
